Historical Palamu Kila(fort) – Missing its Glorious Kings

600 years old Palamu Fort was built by local Chero kings. It is surrounded by dense forest from one side and other side by River Auranga. History says kings who once lived here had ruled the place gloriously and this place used to flourish under its mighty kings. Later it was attacked and captured by Mughal rulers and then by British Government. Now Palamu is one of the district of Indian states of Jharkhand.

We had an official outing on 18 Jan at the place, where I got the opportunity to capture the magnificence of the Fort and Auranga River through lens.
