Grassington – a rich history & a colourful present

We had a field trip to Yorkshire Dales National Park as part of our induction week for Sustainability Masters at University of Leeds. The purpose of the visit was to understand the concept of sustainable development at the beginning of sessions. We also had an opportunity to visit a village call Grassington inside the National park.

The village has almost a thousand years of beautiful history and well known for farming. Some of the old Barns we saw, which has now been turned into cottages are more than 300 years old.

There are some of the photographs of the village, especially, flowers on the walls are extremely beautiful.
